Challenge

A changing lifestyle prompted the need for this couple’s room addition that included an expansive en suite with modern, luxury hotel-like amenities. These Danville homeowners came to Gayler Design Build envisioning a grand entrance into the primary bathroom with a large soaking tub, double vanity, bedroom seating area, modern fireplace, mounted TV and French doors leading to the backyard.

Solution

To give the space a soothing spa feel, the design team at Gayler Design Build installed a unique, oval free-standing tub with a wall-mounted tub filler and large walk-in shower with a ceiling-mounted rain shower head. The double vanity was topped with white quartz countertops and decorated with dark bronze faucets and plumbing fixtures. Duel Robern medicine mirrors cabinets with electrical outlets in the interior, as well as functional drawers, were designed into the space to keep the vanity uncluttered and functional.
