Client Need

The challenge for these San Ramon homeowners lay in transforming their small, outdated kitchen into a large, open space with enhanced functionality and modern aesthetics while accommodating the need for a main-floor guest bedroom with an ensuite bath. They also desired updates for their powder room.

Solution

The solution involved adding a 200-square-foot addition to the back of the home. By ingeniously relocating the kitchen to the back, we not only revamped the cooking space but also crafted a stylish new guest bedroom with an ensuite bathroom in the former kitchen area, fulfilling the homeowners’ desire for both functional and aesthetic enhancements.

Throughout the entire space, new hardwood flooring was seamlessly integrated, imparting warmth and continuity to this remarkable kitchen addition. New stair railings and the central powder room also received a stylish update.
